I love learning, especially in fields that are constantly growing and changing. My favorites are psychology, biology, and history. I believe in helping my students to become competent learners within and outside of academics. The skills they develop with me will prepare them to tackle any question or problem that intrigues them, and that is the foundation of learning and discovery in the classroom and in the larger world. I tutor students in many subjects, including statistics, chemistry, grammar and mechanics, ACT test preparation, and social sciences.I recently earned a bachelor's degree in psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles. I worked for a nonprofit tutoring and mentorship program for middle school students while in college. I volunteered for a nonprofit that targeted schools in low socioeconomic neighborhoods to provide tutoring for elementary school students. When I have leisure time I like to spend it traveling the world, baking cupcakes, watching college and NFL football, or re-reading the Harry Potter series.
