Cameron G.
Private tutor in Escondido, CA
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Western Washington University; Currently enrolled in Masters of Teaching Program at University of Southern California.
Experience
I have provided private trumpet lessons. I have led geology and biology labs at local community college level and at the university level. I want to be a tutor to help students comprehend the material and feel confident about their school work. I believe that education is the most important thing someone can obtain and if I can play a roll in helping students get there than I feel like I did my job. I have take many relevant classes including a full year of college chemistry, a full year of college physics, geophysics, geomechanics, stratigraphy and sedimentology, geomorphology, math all the way through multi-variable calculus, biology, as well as numerous other courses. I have done geological and biological fieldwork in Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, California, Washington, Hawaii and even British Columbia Canada. I have a strong grasp of science and understand how one can be interested in it but struggle with it at the same time. I struggled in high school science classes but excelled through college because I found what I was passionate about.
