I've been a tutor and camp counselor since I was a senior in high school and have worked with kids between the ages of 5 and 15 in all areas of academics: from algebra to Earth science, from poetry to home economics and cooking. As a camp counselor, I taught classes of 6-10 children between the ages of 5 and 13, which really helped me learn how to tailor the learning experience to each child. I have experience working with children with special needs as well as younger children. Also, as a recent college graduate, I have recently gained a wealth of relevant information on the way that the college system works, what schools are looking for, and how to help your child find the right path for them. I scored a 2030 on the SAT and scored 5's on all six of my AP tests aside from one 4. I've always wanted to be a professor and find teaching to be a natural and comfortable exchange. My last quarter of college, I got to design and teach a class, and that was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Learning is among the most important things in my life, and in tutoring over the last four years, I've found that passing knowledge on and helping others to learn is on of my greatest passions.
