Experience
Throughout my years in college I have proofread and edited essays, personal statements, and personal works of prose for various friends, classmates and family members. I worked for 6 months as a Nanny/Tutor working in a number of subject with two elementary aged boys. I also recently worked as a literary intern for a Production Co, while working there I updated their blog, critiqued screen plays for clients among various other web and writing related duties. Having worked with a number of friends to help them improve their own writing, I am experienced in a variety of essay styles and subjects and the varying tones and organization required for each. (In my opinion, a good outline is worth its weight in gold) I have also worked to help a number of people perfect their personal statements for college and graduate school applications. As such I'm familiar with the procedures and expectations of many different schools. I also majored in History so I come with a wealth of experience in helpful research and study techniques. Plus, having survived college (not to mention graduating early) with two very writing and reading intensive majors has left me with a great deal of knowledge and advice for time management and study tips.
